Camping with Papa and Sasi

It was a beautiful Labor Day week-end and I went camping for the first time.


Sasi and I really liked Papa's mattress, but were nice enough to give it back to him at night.



I was a big helper at the campground as well. Here I am carrying wood to the fire pit.




Now that was one big fun playground! I am going try this when I am a little older:



















Mommy came for a visit. I ran so hard down the hill to greet her that I fell when I got to her.












Swimming, biking, and lots of time to catch up with big sister.

I can't wait to go again next year!

My Oma and Opa Came to Visit!!

My Oma and Opa came all the way from Holland to visit me and Sasi!!
















One day I got to go mini-golfing with them. I was sure to observe Opa's putting technique.
















At first I didn't care for Opa too much, but after a day or two we did lots of things together. Here we are, reading a book!
















Did I mention that my cousin Marije came to visit, too? She was very sweet to me.
















Oma and Opa brought a new baby for me. So far we call this baby Pippy, though her name may change if we come up with something better. I really have lots of babies now!

I went to Chicago! (part 1)

I was in Chicago last week with Mommy and Papa. Here are a few things I did:

Mommy brought me to see Buckingham Fountain. Isn't it pretty?























On another day Papa brought me to Millenium Park. He took lots of pictures by this big, mirrored bean. I loved this park!!






















On the last day we were there, we went to a baseball game at this place. Mommy said it was okay to cheer for the Cubs as long as they weren't playing the Twins, so I did.























There were some pretty tense moments during the game, but the Cubs won!!























We did a lot more in Chicago, so Mommy says to check back here soon for more pictures.

Mommy put pigtails in my hair!!

I put pigtails in Anna's hair for the first time today. We haven't gotten her hair cut yet, I'm trying to put that off as long as I can even though Anna usually takes the barrettes and pony tails out of her hair and lets it hang in her eyes. But today she left her pigtails in for hours, giving me hope.

I went to South Carolina!

Welcome to the South! Mommy, Papa and I got on an airplane to go to Charleston. What a pretty city! I did lots of walking.

















I helped sweep the slave cabin at this plantation.

I was the hit of the Greek Festival in Charleston!


















They even had "Greek fries," French fries with paprika!















Oh my, did I sleep well after those exciting days!

We Went to the Zoo!!

Here are some pictures of Mommy and me at the zoo on Sunday. Mommy said I wasn't too cooperative having my picture taken that day. Oh well.

I liked the goats best of all the farm animals. They ate food right out of my hand!

















I let Mommy hold me for this picture, but most of the time I was busy running around and looking at all the animals and birds.

Being Sweet to My Babies

Did you know I have babies? I have a few! I'm especially close to Duckie, Cuddles, Dolly, and Betty. Mommy and Papa say I'm very sweet to them.

Cuddles and Dolly enjoy going for walks. I enjoy pushing their stroller.










































Cuddles enjoys the jumpy toy with me. I do most of the work.






















When it's time for Betty to sit in the high chair, I always make sure she's buckled in securely.







I also share my milk and snacks with my babies, but there aren't any pictures of that yet.

Play! Play! Play!

Mommy and Papa give me a bath two times a week. That's okay, because I like to play in the water with all my duckies!





















I also like to play with this barn and all the animals which go inside. Long ago my big sister used to play with it.





















It's hard to put the top blocks on this tower now, but I'm growing every day!





















Mommy likes to take pictures of me while I'm sleeping. She says that's mostly because she rarely sees me this still anymore.

My Grandma came for a visit!!

A couple weeks ago my Grandma came to visit me! Lots of people were at our house to visit and I was very busy being a social butterfly.

Minnesota Girls Love Snow!!

I Love the Children's Museum!!

I had a great time at the Children's Museum a few weeks ago. Here are some pictures--Mommy and Papa took lots of them!

I enjoyed these colorful flowers.





















Papa helped me build a tower with some really big blocks.



























Once I got used to the place, I ran from activity to activity.



Papa says he will bring me back to this place again soon!
